Named in honour of the famous elephant known for its unique talent, The Swimming Elephant today remains a tribute to the late Rajan. Much of the organically grown vegetables and herbs for the kitchen comes from our very own garden or is sourced from local vendors on the island.

BAR AT BAREFOOT AT HAVELOCK
Like many structures in the resort, Dugong Dugon lounge bar is inspired by one of the endemic inhabitants of the Andaman Islands. Radhanagar bay has extensive seagrass beds, which attract dugongs, also known as sea cows. The name of our bar pays homage to Zoe, a resident dugong who grazes in the vicinity, one of last remaining of a locally endangered species.
